Overview

The Bachmann GMP232 is a high-performance grid measurement and protection module. It monitors three-phase electrical networks in real time. The module supports advanced protection functions for generators and grid-connected systems. GMP232 triggers up to two circuit breakers or trip circuits directly via relay outputs. It monitors grid harmonics up to the 50th harmonic for immediate actions and power quality analysis. The integrated real-time recorder captures up to 24 channels during faults or alarms. Time stamps are recorded with high resolution for precise event tracking. The internal clock synchronizes with external sources using IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol. The module integrates fully with Bachmann SolutionCenter for configuration, visualization, and export. Data can be exported in CSV and COMTRADE formats for analysis and reporting.
