Overview
The DSAO120 (57120001-EY) is an 8-channel analog output module developed for ABB S800 I/O architectures and AC 800M controllers. It delivers stable, high-accuracy analog signals for direct control of field actuators, converters, and regulating devices in continuous and discrete process environments.
Designed for deterministic output performance, this module integrates precision DAC technology, per-channel isolation, and comprehensive diagnostics to ensure predictable behavior in electrically noisy and mission-critical installations.
Signal Performance and Output Capabilities
Each channel of DSAO120 (57120001-EY) operates independently and can be configured via system software for voltage or current output modes. The module supports both unipolar and bipolar ranges, allowing seamless adaptation to mixed field instrumentation without external signal conditioners.
The internal 12-bit digital-to-analog conversion provides fine output granularity, while factory-calibrated accuracy maintains output stability over temperature and load variations.
