Description
Overview
The EPRO CON021 + PR6423/00M-030 is an integrated eddy current measurement solution engineered for continuous condition monitoring of high-speed rotating machinery. The system combines a rack-mountable signal converter with a matched non-contact probe to provide stable, repeatable measurements of shaft displacement, relative vibration, axial position, and rotor eccentricity under demanding operating conditions.
This configuration is widely deployed in critical turbomachinery where long-term accuracy, fast dynamic response, and mechanical robustness are mandatory.
System Architecture
The measurement chain consists of three calibrated elements working as a matched set:
Eddy current probe → extension cable → signal converter → control or protection system
By pairing the PR6423/00M-030 probe with the CON021 converter, the system ensures optimal linearity, temperature stability, and signal integrity across the full operating range.
EPRO CON021 Signal Converter
The CON021 is a high-performance eddy current signal conditioner designed for rack-based machinery protection and monitoring systems. It converts raw probe signals into standardized analog outputs suitable for vibration monitoring modules, PLCs, and DCS platforms.

FAQ
Is the PR6423/00M-030 interchangeable with other cable lengths?
No. Eddy current probes are calibrated as matched systems. Changing cable length requires a corresponding probe variant and recalibration with the signal converter.
Can the CON021 be used outside MMS 6000 or IMR 6000 racks?
The CON021 is optimized for these rack systems. Standalone use is not recommended without appropriate power supply and signal conditioning infrastructure.
What parameters can be measured with this system?
Depending on configuration, the system supports relative shaft vibration, static and dynamic displacement, axial position, eccentricity, and speed or phase reference signals.
