    Overview

    The Woodward 8237-1245 is a ProTech-GII Overspeed Protection System. It quickly shuts down steam, gas, and hydro turbines during overspeed or overacceleration. It uses a 2-out-of-3 voting logic with three independent trip relays to ensure high reliability and safety. This panel- or bulkhead-mounted unit suits critical turbine protection in power generation and industrial environments. The system includes a 15-key keypad for easy configuration and supports Modbus communication for integration.
