Overview

The Woodward 8237-1247 is a ProTech-GII Overspeed Protection System. It monitors steam, gas, and hydro turbines for overspeed and overacceleration. The system uses triple modular redundancy (TMR) with 2-out-of-3 voting logic. This design ensures high reliability and continuous availability. It mounts on bulkhead or panel, supporting critical turbine safety applications. The unit supports high-voltage DC input and features a robust 45-key keypad for control.
