Genicom Launches Next-Generation UV Curing Measurement System for Smart Factories

Genicom Introduces Advanced UV Curing Measurement for Smart Manufacturing

Genicom Co., Ltd., a South Korea-based leader in ultraviolet (UV) detection technology, is set to showcase its latest innovation at AFPE 2026 in Shanghai, China, from June 24–26, 2026. With over 25 years of expertise in UV measurement, the company continues to advance industrial automation and quality control across smart manufacturing environments.

GSE-CRM01-S: Precision Meets Efficiency

The newly unveiled GSE-CRM01-S leverages a UV LED light source to detect fluorescence changes during the curing process and converts them into precise, real-time data. This system achieves up to 60% cost efficiency compared to traditional solutions, offering manufacturers a significant reduction in quality control investment without compromising performance.

High-Speed Monitoring for Modern Factories

Designed for smart factories, the GSE-CRM01-S supports high-speed measurements at up to 10Hz, with minimum and maximum value displays for accurate process tracking. Its RS232 communication capability ensures seamless integration into existing FA (Factory Automation) systems, allowing engineers to monitor and adjust curing processes dynamically.

Scalable and Flexible for Diverse Production Needs

One of the GSE-CRM01-S’s standout features is its expandable sensor configuration, supporting up to four channels depending on production requirements. This flexibility allows the system to adapt to a wide range of production scales—from small prototype lines to large-scale industrial manufacturing—without the need for extensive hardware changes.

Applications Across Advanced Manufacturing

The system is highly applicable in industries where precise UV curing is critical. Key applications include OCA/OCR processes for smartphones, UV tapes for semiconductor wafers, display bonding, and automotive UV curing. By providing real-time curing data, manufacturers can ensure optimal adhesion, reduced defects, and higher yield rates.

Looking Ahead: Expanding UV Technology Horizons

A Genicom representative emphasized that AFPE 2026 offers a platform to strengthen global recognition of their proprietary InAlGaN-based UV materials. Beyond displays and semiconductors, the company envisions expanding UV measurement applications into emerging fields such as water sterilization and air purification, positioning itself as a global leader in versatile UV solutions.
